Triple Vitamin C contains vitamin C in three forms - ascorbyl palmitate (ester-C), ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate, supplemented with camu camu powder. Vitamin C is needed for the daily functioning of the body and especially during heavy exercise. It increases the body's need to regenerate strained muscles and suppress the increasing oxidative stress. And this is where vitamin C is essential.

Ascorbic acid – the most common form of vitamin C, which is produced by the derivation of glucose, but the human body cannot synthesize it due to the absence of the necessary enzyme and must receive it from the diet.

Ascorbyl palmitate is a fat-soluble form of vitamin C, it is a so-called ester formed by combining ascorbic acid and palmitic acid. This form of vitamin C is more stable than other fat-soluble forms, and is also believed to be more absorbable.

Ascorbic acid is a commonly used form of vitamin C, but it is not well known that its absorption by the body varies according to the amount consumed. It is absorbed into the body through an active transport process as well as passive diffusion. At low concentrations in the gastrointestinal tract, active transport prevails, while at higher concentrations, the body absorbs the vitamin only by passive diffusion = the rate of absorption decreases. If we want to achieve higher concentrations of ascorbic acid in the bloodstream, it is advisable to supplement with other forms = combinations with ascorbyl palmitate and sodium ascorbate.

Three forms of vitamin C are supplemented with camu camu fruit powder, a plant found in South America. Here, ascorbic acid occurs in a natural bound form called ascorbigen, and at the same time other antioxidants and flavonoids are present.
