- in a selected territory of the Peruvian Amazonia

- after hand harvesting, it is immediately pressed, so the content of volatile gingerols remains at a maximum
Ginger root contains more than 400 components, including gingerols, zingiberol, zingiberene, zerumbion, shogaols, etc. Volatile oils such as gingerols are very strong, but their content is significantly reduced in dried roots. There are 6-15 times more of them in fresh roots. A number of components in the roots are converted into shogaols after drying. Volatile components have the most antiviral effect.
GIMBER: A story that started at a party
Dimitri, the founder of GIMBER, and then still a producer of animated series, was tired. Not of work, but of parties. Specifically, of the drink offer. Imagine it: either get drunk on wine and regret your dance moves in the morning, or drink sparkling water and feel like a bus driver on a senior trip. No sophisticated, non-alcoholic alternative with character.
This dilemma tormented him until his wife bought fresh ginger concentrate in France. Dimitri tasted it and knew he had found the key to a new life (and better parties).
The birth of a golden elixir
He locked himself in the kitchen and began "ginger research". Months of experimentation, mixing and testing. He wanted a drink that would have sharpness, but not alcohol. Kick, but not a hangover.
And in 2017, it worked! He created GIMBER - a concentrate of organic ginger, lemons, herbs and spices.
It wasn't long before his friends started flocking to the counter to buy his "secret potion". Soon, complete strangers were also lining up. It turned out that Dimitri wasn't the only one suffering from boredom. The lack of a tasty soft drink was a global problem.
